2025 Platform Refresh FAQ

Dewey will be rolling out an improved platform experience at the end of June 2025! Select users are joining the platform early to start accessing the new workflow and are encouraged to download datasets and explore. If you are interested in getting early access and do not already have it please reach out to [email protected]

Do I need to create a new login?

Nope! If you have created a Dewey login previously, use the same credentials to sign in.

Will I still have access to app.deweydata.io?

Yes, for now. We will fully transition all accounts towards the end of June.

Will my data connections and deliveries from the old platform still appear?

"My connections" and "My deliveries" are no longer applicable to the new experience and will not be rolled over. Going forward, datasets you download and "save" will appear in the "Saved" section.

Can I add anyone to my team?

Yes, in the new experience, you can invite your co-authors and collaborators who are on an existing license with you to your team. Once added, someone from the Dewey team will review their account and upgrade their access (this can take up to 48 hours).

What are the main differences from the old experience?

Improved nav and smarter search
More consistent and complete dataset details
Team collaboration - invite your collaborators in a few clicks
Save datasets to come back to them later
Partner terms more clearly surfaced
Customization redesign (coming soon)
Dataset DOIs (coming soon)

What is missing in the new experience?

Snowflake and S3 connections - in development and coming soon
Customization - in development and coming soon
"My deliveries" and "My Connections" - these concepts have been rolled into "Saved" datasets
