Subscriptions Explained
Ready to use the data in your research? Here's what comes with a subscription
How do subscriptions work?
With one annual payment, Dewey subscribers at all levels unlock unlimited access to datasets, including full history and updates. Subscribers have flexibility when choosing how to pay for their license and do not need to get separate approvals for data use. The Dewey team can provide support and is constantly adding new datasets to the subscription as added value.
What type of subscription do you need?
Dewey supports individual researchers as well as wider group access for entire departments, schools, and universities.
Researcher
Individual account with project-based collaborator access.
Institution
Data access for all faculty and students within a larger organization/group.
What's the Researcher subscription?
The Dewey Researcher subscription is meant for individuals and small teams interested in accessing the Dewey platform.
The Research subscription is administered by an individual researcher who can create projects or papers and invite collaborators to those papers. Admins can invite an unlimited number of collaborators, but a limited number of designated data Downloaders. They also assign which datasets should be accessible on each project, allowing them to work with disparate teams of co-authors.
What is included in an institutional license?
If you have a larger group of researchers in need of data, you may want to look at an institutional license. Dewey has pricing tiers for departments, business schools, and wider university access. In addition to granting access for all students, research assistants, and faculty within a group, institutional licenses also include:
- additional datasets unlocked
- classroom and teaching use cases
- collaborate with co-authors from third-party universities (they should not have direct access to data)
Dewey can also work with Universities to configure a single sign-on integration.
