Daily Macro Government Contracting
Overview
Daily Macro Government Contracting is produced by TenderAlpha, which collects government contract award data from official government sources, covering awarded contracts since 2010 across more than 65 countries. Awarded companies are mapped to ticker symbols where publicly listed and to tax identifiers where private, and TenderAlpha's feeds cover contract awards, US federal subcontracting, and derived indicators such as contract receivables, terminations, and country-level procurement aggregates.
This is a country-by-day aggregate of government contract awards across 44 countries — including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU/EEA members, Switzerland, Ukraine, and several Asian and Latin American markets — observed daily from January 2017. For each country and contract dispatch date, the feed reports the total awarded USD value excluding framework agreements, the total including framework agreements, and the minimum delivery date associated with that day's awards. It is aggregated from TenderAlpha's global contract award data and contains approximately 151,000 rows as of July 2026. The cross-country daily panel supports research on fiscal policy transmission, government spending cycles, procurement timing relative to electoral and budget calendars, and nowcasting of government expenditure.
