Overview

Estimize Economics Estimates contains individual analyst forecasts for global economic indicators. Launched in 2011, Estimize is an open financial forecasts platform designed to collect forward-looking financial forecasts from independent, buy-side, and sell-side analysts, along with those of private investors and academics. This dataset captures individual analyst estimates for economic indicator releases, with each row representing a single estimate submitted by an Estimize contributor for a specific economic indicator release.

Data Description

The dataset contains the following key fields: id, user_id, release_id, value, created_at, flagged.

Each observation represents one analyst's estimate for one economic indicator release. The dataset covers 27 US indicators and 55 international indicators.

Methodology

Data is collected via the Estimize platform through crowdsourced submissions from the Estimize community of analysts. The Estimize community comprises 100,000+ analysts including independent, buy-side, sell-side analysts, and academics.
