Link SafeGraph Brand STOCK_SYMBOL to public company ticker
As the guidance (https://github.com/Dewey-Data/SafeGraph-PublicCompanies) claims, neither SafeGraph nor Compustat provide historical ticker information (i.e. the ticker identified by each data source is the ticker as of a particular point in time.), then is there any method that we can use to lower down the mismatch rate when linking SafeGraph with Compustat? Is "Stock Symbol" the only identifier available? Thank you.

Could you please let me know which financial institutions (e.g., banks, credit card networks, or processors) contribute to the anonymized debit and credit card transaction data used in the Spend dataset?
If the exact institutions cannot be disclosed, any general information (e.g., whether data is sourced from major national banks, regional banks, or third-party aggregators) would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to link POI data to the various companies using names or tickers; however, the all the POI data here do not have tickers. Is there a way to match POI data to company names in Compustat identifiers?

Hi, I am using the Spending Pattern in the USA data, and I am wondering if the spending data is lagged a few days or anything? Because when I drew the graphs of the daily spending, it looks like Monday has the most spending in a week, way higher then that of weekends.

Hi there, I came across the note that geometry variables for Safegraph are available via a separate dataset: Global Places (POI) & Geometry. However, I wasn’t able to locate this dataset in SafeGraph on Dewey. Has it been moved to a different location, renamed, or removed?
Safegraph Spend Panel—Country of Origin
Can you provide some insight into the country of origin of customers in the Safegraph Spend panel? Do all customers originate from the U.S.? I see that there is a "customer_home_city" variable, but do the values in this variable include other countries as well (e.g., Montreal, Canada)?
SafeGraph Historical POI Data
I am currently working with the SafeGraph dataset and noticed that it provides the most recent state of Points of Interest (POIs). However, I am particularly interested in accessing historical POI records to analyze changes over time.
I also saw the "open date" field in the data structure, but it appears to be available for only a limited number of records. I was wondering if there is a more comprehensive historical dataset available that includes past POI records or any way to track changes over time.
Could you please let me know if such data is available and how I might be able to access it?
Spending Pattern Data CUSTOMER_HOME_CITY
I read the description from the Safegraph website (https://docs.safegraph.com/docs/spend#section-customer-information), but it does not tell what the definition of the city is. Thus, I am wondering if anyone could help me with the definition of the CUSTOMER_HOME_CITY (like whether it refers to county, Census Designated Place or something else).
