How to filter Spend data for a specific region and get latitude/longitude?

Hi, I'm working with SafeGraph's Spend dataset and would like to focus my analysis on a specific region, such as Los Angeles.

What is the recommended approach to extract only the data for that region?

I understand it might be possible to merge the Spend data with the Core Places dataset using placekey to filter by region. Ideally, I would also like to obtain latitude and longitude information for the locations included.

Is there a suggested or more efficient workflow for this use case?
