Using the Weekly Patterns - Foot Traffic - Full Historical Data, I noticed that several rows have identical values for raw_visit_count, raw_visitor_count, and origin_home_cbg, as well as the visitor count within origin_home_cbg, even though these locations have different placekey values. I checked their parent_placekey, and while some of them share the same parent, others do not. Additionally, I examined whether all child_placekey values under the same parent_placekey had matching raw_visit_count, raw_visitor_count, and origin_home_cbg, but that wasn't always the case.

We are researching human mobility and have calculated the visitor rate for each CBG in Erie County using the formula: Visitor Rate = Visitors / Number of Devices.

I noticed data that I thought was missing from the Advan datasets. Heads up if you have the same issue -- the GEO IDs are connected to 2010 Census Block Groups, not 2020. Glad I solved this, hope this helps someone else!

I'm trying to understand the representativeness of Advan data. What percentage of U.S. cellphones does it capture at a given point in time? Does this coverage percentage fluctuate over time, and if so, what factors influence these changes?

I am currently downloading the Advan Research data for 2022–2024 and have noticed that many major airports, such as Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and John Glenn Columbus International Airport, lack the data of visits and visitors from home CBGs for the period between December 2022 and December 2024. Specifically, I have questions about the following columns: visitor_home_cbgs and visitor_daytime_cbgs. I would like to clarify the definitions of the "home city" and "home CBG" fields, as well as understand how these fields are censored.
