I’m pulling PROP_MRKTVAL (Total Market Value of the Parcel’s Land & Improvement) from the Verisk property dataset. Does PROP_MRKTVAL correspond to the official Tax Year, using the PROP_TAXYR variable (i.e., the January 1, 2024 assessment used for billing), or is it updated to whatever the most recent assessment date was (for example, a mid‐2023 appraisal that still feeds Tax Year 2024)?
