Hello,

I have a few questions about the Advan mobility data after looking through the datasets and reading the documentation and past discussion posts.

1. I understand that the “Patterns” datasets stopped being updated in late 2025, whereas “Patterns Plus” data are still being updated in 2026.
   a) Can you please confirm whether the following datasets, which are listed under “Patterns Plus,” are actually from the “Patterns” data? They end in late 2025, and I would like to know whether or not I can expect them to be updated in the future, or whether they have stopped being updated.    b) Can you please confirm that the only two datasets from Advan that are being updated in 2026 are (https://app.deweydata.io/data/advan/weekly-patterns-plus/weekly-patterns-plus) and (https://app.deweydata.io/data/advan/Neighborhood-Patterns-Plus/Neighborhood-Patterns-Plus) ? If there are any other Advan mobility datasets that are being updated in 2026, I’d love to know about them.
2. I am aware that there were changes made after November 18, 2024 for Advan’s normalization of CBG information (https://docs.deweydata.io/changelog/advan-changes-to-trade-areas-cbgs-normalization).
   a) Can you please confirm whether the “No, there is no restatement” in the FAQ in (https://docs.deweydata.io/changelog/advan-changes-to-trade-areas-cbgs-normalization) means that the normalization is different before and after 11/18/2024?
   b) For my research, I would like to be able to get weekly total counts of people from a given CBG to POIs with a given NAICS code, in such a way that I can compare these weekly counts both between CBGs and within the same CBG over time. Can you suggest any way to do this, or approximate this, that uses only information available in datasets that are or will be updated in 2026?
   c) Do you foresee issues with attempting the above by rescaling the CBG values to sum to VISITOR_COUNTS, and using that for year-to-year comparison?
   d) Can you point me towards any published papers that do this type of CBG comparison, year over year, with the Advan data?
3. I have observed from the device counts in the patterns dataset that there is a huge spike in the number of devices with home CBGs in Minneapolis from the week of 06/17/2024 to the week of 09/30/2024. Device counts go from ~65k to 4.7 million (week of 06/17/2024), then drop back down to 81k (week of 09/30/2024).
   a) Do you have any suggestion for why this might be? I am summing “NUMBER_DEVICES_RESIDING” by week from this dataset (https://app.deweydata.io/data/advan/weekly-patterns-plus/weekly-patterns-home-panel-summary).
