The OWNERTYPEDESCRIPTION1 and OWNERTYPEDESCRIPTION2variables in ATTOM's assessor datasets are described as "Identifies if first/second owner is a company, individual, or unknown." Does this mean they describe the first and second owners of that property chronologically, or does it mean that multiple entities own a property and so it's describing who owns the property at time of assessment? I'm trying to filter my data to just properties that are owner-occupied and not owned by companies and am currently using the STATUSOWNEROCCUPIEDFLAG and the COMPANYFLAG but was wondering what roll the OWNERTYPEDESCRIPTION variables play. Thank you!
