Consumer Edge Brand-Demographic cohort breakout variable definition

Hi there, I have some questions regarding the variable definitions in CE.

I noticed the definition of these variables (SPEND_AMOUNT, TRANS_COUNT, INDIVIDUAL_COUNT) from the Brand-Demographic cohort breakout data document as follows:
"SPEND_AMOUNT: Cumulative spend associated with period and brand; weighted as part of panel
TRANS_COUNT: Number of transactions associated with period and brand; weighted as part of panel
INDIVIDUAL_COUNT: Number of individuals associated with period and brand; weighted as part of panel"

  1. Does the "weighted as part of panel" above mean the same thing as what you mentioned in an earlier question's response "they come from CE’s underlying panel and are then weighted by CE to better reflect the broader consumer population."?
  2. "to better reflect the broader consumer population" does it mean the entire U.S. consumers?
  3. Is the CE's card panel (and the persons/users behind) consistent across years? Or there are mild fluctuations but they have some balancing and weighting to address that already.

Appreciate it!
