Daily spending and report timing in Safegraph Spend data

In the Safegraph Spend documentation, it states:

"Furthermore, whenever possible, the transaction dates used in spend_by_day, spend_per_transaction_by_day, spend_by_day_of_week reflect the date of the actual transaction. However, for some transactions, the date reported is instead the date processed by the financial institution, which is typically the next business day."

My understanding is that this applies to debit card transactions, not credit.

Has anyone seen any information on the the frequency of these reporting errors? As in, how many of the total transactions (or point of interest-days) on Mondays suffer from this delayed reporting (ratios of debit vs. credit transactions, what proportion of debit transactions are reported on following days, etc.)? It would be nice to have some sort of reference of the potential number of observations biased by this issue.
