Hello Dewey team,
The recently released LinkUp dataset is very useful! I have a few questions about the data collection:
- How is the term “employer” defined in the dataset? Do you expect the number of employers to continuously grow over time?
- The dataset shows a significant peak in job postings around 2014 (see attached image). Could you provide insights into what might have caused this spike?
- Could you share a more detailed overview of the data collection workflow? Information on potential biases, inclusion criteria, and data sourcing procedures would greatly enhance the dataset’s transparency and support its use in rigorous research.
- What is the method to determine the job code? What is the accuracy?
