ID_TYPE in Veraset's Visit

Hello,

The Visit data dictionary says that CAID uniquely identifies a device, and ID_TYPE shows whether that device is Android (aaid) or iOS (idfa). I’ve noticed some CAID values labeled as Android in certain visit records but as iOS in others.

Can a single CAID switch devices over time? How should we interpret these cases?
