I understand that datasets can be downloaded using the deweydataR library via an API key.

I am wondering if there is a way to apply additional filters when downloading the data to avoid working with overly large datasets. For example, I know we can specify a start and end date, but is it also possible to restrict by other variables, such as limiting the data to California?

Relatedly, I am also curious whether the contents of each downloaded dataset (for example, XX 1.csv.gz, XX 2.csv.gz ...) change every time it is downloaded (but the full dataset (from all the csv.gz files) remains consistent and covers the same information across downloads), as long as the dataset was not updated. To me, it seems like that, but I wanted to confirm this.
