Introducing Projects: A new way to collaborate and manage papers
We’re very excited about the introduction of Projects, a new way to organize your papers utilizing the datasets available on Dewey. Projects allow you to manage your research teams, data downloads, project statuses, and links to external resources like working papers or codebooks.
Projects will enable researchers to organize their downloads, expand their collaborators (more on that below), and manage their post-term use. Check out the explainer video, and log in to create your first project. We’re excited to add more features to Projects in the future to improve paper discoverability and replication. To learn more about how projects work, please review the Projects page.
Updated flexibility with our individual subscriptions
With the introduction of Projects, paying subscribers can now collaborate across multiple project teams and are no longer limited to a single research team. This means each subscriber can work with different groups of collaborators and get more value out of their Dewey Data subscription.
Each subscriber can work on up to 5 active projects at any given time. As they create new projects, they can add their collaborators, relevant datasets and provision access. If you’d like to discuss these changes to our subscription options, please schedule a time.
Data Partner Updates
New equity options data from EDI
Exchange Data International (EDI) has added an additional dataset to the Dewey platform, US Options data. Their end-of-day option pricing data is now available with all Dewey subscriptions.
Updates to the Veraset schema and Home coverage
We’ve extended Patterns Plus to include data from 2017 and 2018! When we launched Patterns Plus last month, coverage spanned from 2019 to the present. This gives you a deeper historical view and long-term insights.
Expanded historical coverage for Patterns Plus
The Veraset Work dataset soon include a Work From Home (WFH) attribute. This new field identifies whether a device’s home location matches its work location — offering valuable insights into WFH trends. Data for this attribute is available starting June 1, 2023.
The Veraset Home dataset now includes a longitudinal component, adding valuable context for analyzing home visits over time. This enhancement ensures more accurate attribution of home locations within any given timeframe.
