Question about the Definition of Foot Traffic and Travel Mode in Dewey Visitation Data

Hi,

I am currently working with the Dewey foot traffic / visitation data and would like to clarify the definition of “foot traffic” in the dataset.

Specifically, I am wondering whether the visit counts represent actual pedestrian or walking trips, or whether “foot traffic” refers more broadly to visits to points of interest regardless of travel mode. For example, if a visitor arrives at a destination by car, public transit, biking, or walking, would all of these visits be included in the foot traffic / visitation counts?

I would also like to ask whether the dataset provides any method or field to identify the travel mode used to reach a destination. In other words, does the data distinguish visits made by walking from visits made by other modes, or are the visits only attributed to destinations without mode classification?

Thanks
